Memories

We all have wonderful memories of our special angel, Timmy.  My fondest memory is that of his beautiful smile!

Michael was just saying the other day how he misses the "bond" that they had.  Michael could call on Timmy at ANY time of the day or night, and not matter what, Timmy would be there within minutes.  Their friendship/ love for each other was sooo deep!

It is so sad that the Tim DaSilva BMX Track has to be torn down today!  It is so wrong, so unfair, so uncalled for!  But, I choose to believe that Timmy was given a gift to design and build an awesome track -- and he DID JUST THAT!  That can NEVER be taken away from him!  We all have come home with our 'piece of the track', and our wonderful memories!

No one ever said that life was going to be easy -- but through it all, we have become one big family, all because of one young man -- Timothy James DaSilva.

"Timmy I love you so much and I am so happy and proud to say you were/are apart of my life.  I am certainly a better person because of you.  Rest in Peace my friend.  You are so loved!"

OLIVES!  YUK!  I remember sitting at the restaurant in Milton after finishing the track with the DaSilvas and Sammy Cools and they were talking about Tims love of Olives, well I hate olives!   even the smell gets to me.  But they asked for a plate of olives and everyone had to eat one - even me!  It was Gross!!!!  Timmy, that is the only olive I will ever eat - and only for you!

Timmy's dream was to design and build a track for BMXers.  Timmy created an amazing track -- and friends and family completed it for him.  I know that Timmy is so proud, and thankful!  Timmy lost his life building the track of his dreams.  So much love and thought has gone into completing Timmy's track -- and now 'they' want to demolish it?!?  I don't think so!  Not without a collective fight from us!  Together we can have a strong voice and try and save the Tim DaSilva BMX Track.

It has been some time since i have been on here and im not really sure why but tonight for the first time i read tims life story Jess has a point you can't tell tims life story it will just never do any justice to him. I admire him so much to be able to live life so care free and with no worries some of my best memories of tim are not things we did they are of his personality and his attitude towards life he truly changed me. I totally forgot about that day he got us pulled over by that undercover cop. Typical Tim doesn't listen to anyone we we turning on to main street heading back to work from my house at unnecessary speeds (which for all who know tim isn't surprising) we were going to be late coming back from lunch he sped up on the bank end of this really nice brand new Dodge Charger and if anyone knows main st in milton it has a turning lane well this charger was turning but taking up to lanes and that was really getting on tims nerves so when reving his engine to 8000 RPM's didn't get this charger to get out of the way he decided that his $20 fake police siren from canadian tire would do the trick and boy did it ever the charger got right out of the way Tim spun his tires till they smoked just like he always did and took off around the car just barely hitting it .....WELLL Tim i think we can both vouch for the fact that you didn't make it 4 car lengths before that black charger was holding you up again. And just one last time i want to tell you that i am sorry for laughing hysterically in your face but sometimes your impatients is to funny not to laugh at....when it was all over i am glad we finally got a chance to laugh at it together your laugh and smile got me through alot of things those are the things i miss the most your laugh your smile and the overwhelming comfort i felt in your presence...RIP tim

Not a memory, but a song I found

I came by today to see you
I had to let you know
If I knew the last time that I held you was the last time
I'd have held you and never let go

It's kept me awake nights, wondering
Lie in the dark, just asking why
I've always been told
You won't be called home
Until it's your time

I guess heaven was needing a hero
Somebody just like you
Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe
And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to
Is heaven was needing a hero
Like you

I remember the last time I saw you
You held your head up proud
I laughed inside
When I saw how you were standing out in the crowd
You're such a part of who I am
Now that part will just be void
No matter how much I need you now
Heaven needed you more

Cause heaven was needing a hero
Somebody just like you
Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe
And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to
Is heaven was needing a hero
Like you
